What If . . .

If you were to die tonight and awake in the presence of Almighty God, and He were to ask you, "Why should I let you into my heaven?"  What would you say?

• Well, most people would say something like, "I've always tried to be a good person," or, "I've never stolen anything," or, "I always go to church on Sunday," or, "I always give a church offering," or maybe, "I've tried to help others as often as I could."
  
  Although these are all commendable works, the FACT is, not one of them will merit you an entrance into heaven.
  
  There is only ONE way to eternal life: Jesus said, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." Only through FAITH in Jesus Christ, His shed blood, and His resurrection, can any person claim entrance into heaven. The blood is applied to your soul through faith in Jesus Christ. His blood will cleanse you of all your sins. Moreover, what Jesus provided for you by his death, burial and resurrection, no other person or thing can provide -- everlasting life. This is the gospel -- will you believe it? Will you REPENT of (turn from) your sin, wickedness, unbelief, idolatry, fornication, dead works -- or whatever is hindering your coming to Jesus? Jesus will SAVE you from a life lost in sin, from eternal punishment (Hell and the Lake of Fire), and grant you eternal life and bliss with Him in heaven. All this is offered to you freely, because Jesus loves YOU!
  
  Sounds too simple to be true, doesn't it? That is exactly why most people will not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. But, be assured, the Gospel is very TRUE and very POWERFUL. If you refuse to accept this FREE gift of Salvation that Jesus Christ offers you, and refuse to let Him come into your life, you will be eternally lost in HELL. Does this sound like a far-fetched tale or what some might call a "scare tactic"? Well, the Bible tells us that it is indeed a FACT. Why risk spending eternity in HELL because of your unbelief, when you could spend eternity with Jesus in HEAVEN?
  
  By accepting Christ and becoming "BORN AGAIN" into the family of God, two major things will happen: your sinful habits will no longer have power over you, and you will gain wisdom and knowledge through seeking God's will for your life.
